About Lauren Emma Psychotherapy

Welcome, and thank you for being here. Lauren Emma Psychotherapy was created as a supportive space where individuals can reconnect with their inner strength, authenticity, and capacity for vulnerability. My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Daring Way™ model, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).To learn more about these specialized therapeutic models, see the Approach Tab for more information.

I work with clients to build shame resilience and explore their most authentic selves by creating meaningful shifts in how they live, parent, and connect in relationships. To best support your unique goals, we will begin with an initial assessment during your first session, allowing treatment to be thoughtfully tailored to your needs.

Welcome, I’m Lauren!  Coming to therapy can feel like a big step, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. My role is to meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and care. I work with clients to help them better understand themselves and develop skills to manage their emotions. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self.  I have experience working in a variety of outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings with LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Together, we’ll move at your pace, exploring patterns, building coping skills, and fostering healing and a deeper connection to yourself.
